Pain management is an important portion of any doctor’s practice. Whether chronic or acute, pain can often be challenging to treat. Many oral medications can cause systemic side effects. Topical preparations allow for treatment of the specific area which minimizes systemic involvement and subsequent side effects. We offer a wide variety of preparations as well as many concentrations to best fit the patients’ needs. Low-concentration formulas are typically adequate for larger areas of pain (i.e. knees). Higher-concentration formulas are available for smaller areas of pain (i.e. joints, hands, and feet). Drug preparations are also compounded to ensure proper drug penetration to the affected tissue layers.
